At Capitale, Helena Houdova's Sunflower Children's Foundation event was a success with the likes of fellow model Petra Nemcova, Russell Simmons,who co-hosted the event, and CSI: NY's Hill Harper. A dinner date with some of the Victoria Secret models went for $80,000, but all for a good cause as this charity was set up in 1997 to aid underprivileged children around the world.

More than 350 snazzily dressed fashionistas joined special guest Russell Simmons, chairman &
CEO, Rush Communications, at Capitale in the Bowery on Thursday, September 27 for the 2007
Sunflower Children’s Foundation benefit to celebrate Sunflower Children Heroes which raised funds for the forgotten children of the world.The swanky “Hold’em Charity Poker and Dance was hosted by brainy and beautiful top fashion model Helena Houdova, founder and president, Sunflower Children Foundation, and Paul Touradji, founder and president, Touradji Capital Management, LP, present- (Photos: Nicolas de Miranda) ing sponsor. Jay Goldman, general partner, J Goldman & Company, served as event chair. Todd White, managing director, HSBC; Richard Brady, executive director, CIBC; John Christmas, executive director, CIBC; and Peter Pinto, Kefalas- Pinto Foundation, served as host committee. The beautiful people dined on a special menu prepared by Flame Deal of Flame Deal Events and Huynh Bao Michael of Mai House Restaurant. Some of the guests seen getting their bets on at the poker tables included Petra Nemcova, Evan Ross, Hill Harper, Donald Trump Jr., Vanessa Trump, Tim Robbins, Donny Deutsch, Dikembe Mutombo, Anna Korenius, Johanna Faust, Rick Yun and Katarina Muniz
