Global Frequencies, Exquisite Planning and Pink Elephant, in association with Sunflower Children of Brazil and special hosts, are proud to present a night of festivities to benefit Sunflower Children Projects in Brazil. Please observe the invitation accompanying this introduction. The event will be held at Pink Elephant on Thursday, May 7th, from 7pm to 11pm and attendees will be able to remain in the club after our event officially ends and enjoy the rest of the night.

On April 30th the Seattle Chapter of Sunflower Children will be presenting their second annual charity fashion event - FACE (Fashion, Art, Compassion, Event).

Hosted by Attica for its members and friends of Sunflower Children, this poker event will be held at the Classic Car Club in New York City on Wednesday March 11, 2009.

On November 21st, 2008, Sunflower Children hosted its 2nd Annual Texas Hold'em Charity Benefit.
Host Committee members included: Helena Houdova, Roberta Armani, Russell Simmons, Lane Carlson and MC for the evening the 2006 WSOP Champion and Highest Poker Stakes Winner in History, Jamie Gold.

Sunflower had a very successful live auction with winning bids raising approximately a quarter of a million dollars. The most expensive item on the list? A "Final Space Fantasy" package which included one seat in the "Virgin Galactic" launch to fly to space and drinks with business mogul, Richard Branson. Proceeds from the evening raised $344,828, which will go to the Sunflower Children of the World Fund.

Celebrity Guest Players included: Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps, Poker Pros Lee Childs and Johnny Chan, actors Michael Kelly, "Changeling", Ben Bailey "Cash Cab", Ana Ortiz "Ugly Betty" Mark Indelicato "Ugly Betty," Malinda Williams "First Sunday" and David Zayas "Dexter".

All Public donations benefited Sunflower Children of the World Fund.

On November 1st, 2008 Sunflower Children partnered with key members of the New York City philanthropic community including special hosts, Wesley Wang and Peter Pinto, to present a spectacular Halloween Bash at renowned club Mansion NYC.

On October 9th, 2008 Sunflower Children of Seattle hosted its 1st Annual FACE Event - Fashion, Art, and Wine Event. The proceeds from this benefit will help raise funding for our projects in Nepal and India.

On August 12th, 2008 Sunflower Children was the benefactor of the 7th Annual Brother Jimmy’s Golf Classic held at Pine Ridge Golf Club in Coram, New York. Afterwards, the party moved to the newly opened Lexington Avenue Brother Jimmy’s in New York City.
